Established in 1985, Scott Electric is a family-owned business built on a foundation of strong work ethic, dedication to quality, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Our journey began with Bob Scott, the patriarch of the family, who brings over 40 years of hands-on electrical experience to the table. Having learned his trade by working with several local electrical companies, Bob envisioned a business where expertise, reliability, and customer satisfaction were paramount. Starting with a small team, Bob and his dedicated crew have grown to 10-20 electricians, depending on the project scope, and have successfully tackled a diverse range of projects, from single-family homes to large-scale commercial developments like hotels, senior living facilities, and even university campuses.

His son, Adam Scott, began his apprenticeship at the tender age of 12, immersing himself in the world of electrical work alongside his father. Now a licensed Master Electrician in both Missouri and Illinois, Adam brings 20 years of experience to the family business. His expertise extends beyond residential applications; he is also a licensed substation electrician, having contributed to the construction of electrical substations across the United States, working on power lines ranging from 13,800-volts to 345,000-volts and large transformers. This extensive experience has provided Adam with a broad understanding of electrical systems, from residential wiring to complex industrial applications. Together, Bob and Adam bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to every project they undertake.
