Who We Are

The Central Texas Chapter of the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) is a leading organization dedicated to providing quality education, training, and mentorship to independent electrical contractors. Our chapter was established in August 1996 with the goal of recruiting and training electricians for their businesses. Over the years, we have grown to become one of the largest and most respected chapters in the country, with over 100 contractor members, 40 associate members, and more than 400 apprentices currently enrolled in our programs.

Our mission is to provide a forum for independent electrical contractors to continue learning and improve their companies and the electrical industry. We believe that by coming together, we can raise the standards for the electrical trade and provide a strong and unified voice for our members.
