Chesley Electric Company, Inc. is a residential electrical contractor with deep roots in Southern California, spanning three generations of electrical expertise. Our family business began in the 1930s, when Chris Chesley and his wife moved from Beaver, Utah to Hollywood, California. Chris joined the Electrical Workers Union, Local 11 IBEW and later became a partner with Electrocraft. He completed numerous electrical jobs in the Los Angeles area, including the "high-rises" on Wilshire Blvd, Jet Propulsion Laboratories, Boeing, Douglas Aircraft, and more.
In the 1960s, Roy Chesley joined his father in the business, eventually starting his own contractor's license as CEECO (Chesley Electric & Engineering Co.) in the early 1980s. Danny Chesley, the current president of Chesley Electric Company, began working around his father's shop at an early age and joined the company in 1990 after his enlistment in the US Navy. Together, they continued to complete numerous electrical jobs in the Los Angeles area, focusing on water bottling facilities, ABC Studios, Burbank and Ontario Airports, USC, and USC medical center.
Today, Chesley Electric Company provides superior residential electrical installations with unmatched experience and expertise from the numerous years of commercial experience. Danny and his team enjoy guiding and educating homeowners, building relationships, and tackling new and unique electrical design challenges with each project.
