Really impressed by their work and overall customer service. From my first contact with the office to scheduling and arrival notices, I noticed a high degree of professionalism. Estimates and bills were very clear, and the text reminders included names and photos of service professionals visiting my house.
Travis and Noah were great problem solvers (there's always a few surprises with an older house,) and were dedicated to making sure everything worked the way I needed it to. And they cleaned up after their work. I would definitely work with this company again!

If you are looking for an electrician to use, Blackhawk Electric is who you should call! Damien came out for an estimate and gave us great suggestions to accomplish what we wanted. The estimate was spot on, and didnt change once the job was done. Travis was able to execute those suggestions and created exactly what we wanted and more! Travis listened to me, and took the time to reach out to my husband multiple times to make sure the project was correct. The comminication was outstanding! We are beyond happy with Blackhawk Electric! We will definitely be using them for all electrical needs in the future!

After purchasing a new home, I needed Blackhawk Electric install a new whole house generator & whole house surge protector as they have done at 2 of my previous homes. They then returned to do switch relocations and dusk-to-dawn connections for my outside lights. I will always choose Blackhawk Electric for my electrical needs!

The Blackhawk team was incredible to work with! We had a number of light fixtures and fan installation, smoke/co detector replacement, 3-way and dimmer switch installation and ring doorbell. The entire process from estimate to scheduling to installation was seamless, quick at a very reasonable cost.

I recently had a fresh install on a bath fan. I am glad I called Blackhawk. Travis and Noah were great and professional. Also fast and friendly. The original quote was a little off, but this was due to the poor condition of my current wiring. I was made aware of this issue and told the new estimate would be higher. I completely understood and was made fully aware of the costs upfront. I will call these guys for all my electrical needs. Thank You Blackhawk Electric you guys are #1.

Blackhawk upgraded an electrical panel box to 200 amps, 40 circuits, with grounding and surge protector. Also added a dedicated circuit in one inside room.
We received several quotes. Estimator was knowledgeable. Later spoke with owner about details. He patiently explained scope of work. Pricing was affordable and competitive.
Work was performed on two different days. Both crews arrived on time, completed jobs as expected. Very professional and thorough. Cleaned up well.
Would recommend to anyone.

Steven was great. He worked on our generator. Responded quickly & in the rain. Took his work seriously & looked for additional issues while present - replaced a recalled board. My generator stopped working in the middle of a storm. I called at 7:30 am to see if someone could come out to LeClaire to help me. Luckily someone was in the area and by 8:30 am they had fixed the issue. They said a wire had gotten disconnected since they arent very tight coming from the factory. It was a simple fix so I was given a small discount on a price that was already less than I was expecting. The person who took my phone call and the technician were both incredibly nice and helpful. I will be using them for all future electrical work.

I called and spoke to Brian, who identified himself as the owner. He was very personable even though I probably explained my issue exactly like a first-time homeowner who has never had to think about electrical problems in my life. Despite my stumbling explanation, Brian said he believed my issue was likely something caused by the electricity going INTO my house, which MidAmerican would fix for free. He very plainly did not want to waste my time or money if he did not have to and said if they can't fix my problem, to call back and he'd come help me out. Well, he was right and I am so thankful for his kindness! I will definitely be calling Blackhawk when I DO need an electrician.
