C R Electric

We are C R Electric, a family-owned and operated full-service electrical company serving the New Orleans metro and Northshore regions for over 25 years. Our team includes licensed Master Electricians, Journeymen, and Apprentices, all fully trained to deliver code-compliant, high-quality electrical work for every project. We hold A+ ratings from the Better Business Bureau and were awarded the 2026 Best of Jefferson Parish Gold for Electrical Services, a recognition earned from the homeowners and businesses we have served for decades. Our 24/7 emergency response service ensures we are available to address urgent electrical issues at any time, day or night, across our two service locations on the Northshore and Southshore. We prioritize transparency in all our interactions, providing up-front, honest pricing with no hidden fees, and free estimates for core service areas to help clients plan their projects with confidence. Every member of our team is committed to delivering prompt, ethical service focused on client satisfaction, rather than pushing unnecessary sales or unneeded services. We handle both residential and commercial electrical projects of all sizes, from small repairs like flickering lights or dead outlets to full commercial build-outs and new construction wiring.

Our owner, Chris Ray, has over 25 years of hands-on electrical experience and is a recognized expert in Louisiana building compliance, ensuring all work meets local regulatory standards. We pull all required permits and manage inspections as part of our service process, eliminating administrative hassle for our clients and guaranteeing work that passes all required checks. We install and service trusted brands like Generac and Eaton for whole-home standby generators, providing storm-ready backup power that automatically restores electricity within seconds of an outage. Our commitment to reliability and quality has earned us hundreds of positive reviews from clients across Metairie, Covington, Mandeville, Harahan, Kenner, and Madisonville. We stand behind every job we complete, ensuring that all electrical work is done right the first time, every time, to keep our clients homes and businesses safe and functional.
